President Trump, in between congratulating Phillipines President Duterte on the extrajudicial killing of thousands, also told President Duterte that 2 U.S. Navy nuclear submarines were in the seas near North Korea. Is this deliberate messaging, in order to let the NKs know that the instruments of their potential demise are available and handy unless they come back into compliance with international nuclear non-proliferation law.

NKs can't find our nuke subs, but the Russkis have better tech and their Pacific fleet's main base is just up the coast from NK, like, about 100 miles. So, would they share?
