Well... It's pretty common knowledge that seals can easily be trained, right. And everybody knew that the seal was there as it already made itself known earlier. And chances are they were feeding it Fish already. So one would think that a little girl would be afraid of something that she knows could "snatch" her at any time but yet the girl just sits on the edge with her back to it, without a care in the world, So anyway after the fish quit coming, that's the seals queue or reaction to not being fed the fish anymore. Kind of like when you quit petting a dog or a cat and they force your hand to do it some more. Maybe it wasn't a full on set up, but something's rotten in Denmark to me with this.
