I wonder what finally sent him over the edge.

He had just done a show in Detroit and was going to Cleveland next.
I can see the problem, but this is not a guy (like you'd find here) that spends his days buying a month's worth of chili at the dollar store, lives in mom's basement with dialup only, and whose transportation is the bus. He looks like he had it all...

I actually didn't know people liked soundgarden all that much.

    Just an average band.

Sounds like someone should go listen to Badmotorfinger and then come on back and admit what a fucking donkey they are.

Unless Hootie and the Blowfish are more your speed, in which case, nevermind - don't come back at all.

I thought you were better than this. *faggoty wink
Then graduate up to Louder Than Love.

Another grunge king gone. What's the O/U on Edward Vedder?

It's funny, in a shitty kind of way, that he is really the only one left, and he's the worst of the whole bunch by a fucking mile.

    Andy Wood - DEAD Overdose
Kurt Cobain - DEAD Suicide by gun
    Layne Staley - DEAD Overdose
Chris Cornell - DEAD Suicide by hanging

Eddie Vedder - Will live forever

    FUCK!
I think Vedder's really good at what he does, and Cornell obviously had a lot of respect for him which goes a long way for me.

But yeah, really good at what he does still falls way short of the other four.

    SAD. For realz.

Andy Wood is probably overrated because he died so young.

I'm not saying he's bad, so don't twist.

Seattle can't even kill off their grunge vocalists in the right order. Vedder should have been gone AWHILE ago. Cornell needed more time.

@Swaye @dnc @CuntWaffle @phineas I'm keeping a detailed list of those who will be receiving a 7/11 invite for besmirching the hollowed, distinguished Mr. Vedder.

    You've been warned.

    Add me to the list.

    He sucks.

This is the script. You weren't a real grunge band if this isn't your outcome. No one really thought pearl Jam was grunge anyway.

PJ was 70s classic rock by their second album.

This. They released one great album then went full Neil Young.

Eddie Vedder can die in a fiery avalanche.

Well now that he has your permission....

He should have been shot on stage, after the first line, when he sang Light My Fire with the remaining Doors...

But alas, there is not always swift justice on this world
