We literally almost obliterated Turkey during the Coup attempt. The Secretary of Defense basically told them if those Airman end up dead it's curtains and they backed off.
I was there in 2002 for a couple weeks building up for the A-10's to arrive and they kicked us out. We should have never had anything to do with them after that. They essentially said they supported Iraq over us. -
