Taron Madison, 4* 2019 RB, Banning (HS), CA (Offered)
Hardly any info out there on this kid. Doesn't seem to have any star ratings from Scout, 24/7, etc. Seems like UW is targeting him as a big RB a la Pleasant since Bonerpopper is his main recruiter. But apparently his HS quarterback got injured so he played QB instead of RB most of last year, which might explain the lack of attention, stars, etc.

Darn good sophomore tape. Body will continue to mature, and probably will get a tad bit faster. I like it. Two years is a long time though, so we'll see who else throws their hat in the ring.

He has great vision and makes good cuts at the second level which is shit you can't teach. Speed is mediocre.

Looked too much like Troy Williams in that vid, I shivered.
Banning WR #5 looked like the best prospect on the field to me in that film. -

He's fine, but honestly of those we have offered I like every other RBs film way more. Maybe they plan to use him somewhere else.
I'd be kinda pissed if we took him and that meant Cameron Davis or Jayvaun Wilson went elsewhere because they didn't have a spot. Austin Jones is the star we are after, but the '19 RB class is good and we? have the opportunity to pick up a couple kids with top end talent, and Madison just isn't quite there for me. -
Who's the other RB DDY likes almost as much as Jones, it is Davis?

Davis had great film IMO. Nobody else seems to be in on him at the moment. Would love to lock him up early and then chase Jones with everything we have.

If we can get Austin Jones, I want us to take him and either Cameron Davis or Zach Charbonnet. 19 is gonna be a great year for RBs, and as we all know, we got dick at RB this class.
