That's more coming out of the closet than being left of them. Dems have been moving progressively left for some time. Guys like Scoop Jackson are completely absent from the modern Democrat Party. Blue dogs are the remaining vestiges of rationality in that party and they are far out numbered by the Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi types.

Even if the $15/hour minimum wage nonsense gets shot down in SeaTac, what entrepreneur in their right mind would start a business there with that possibility always hovering nearby?
