I think people are making a bigger deal out of taking two quarterbacks in the same class. It happens all the time around the country. Sirmon has been committed for a year and a half. Then UW makes the playoff. He knew this was coming. The coaches talked to him and the family. It wasn't a surprise. Petersen didn't pull the rug out from under him. It just so happens that instead of bringing in a Jake Haener, whose ceiling is capped, Washington got a commitment from a big time player in Yankoff. He's dynamic. He brings something to the table that we haven't seen in a long time at Washington.RoadDawg55 said:

When you look at the depth at the position its obvious that it needed to be addressed. UW fucking choked last year in quarterback recruiting. It's nothing against Haener, I don't blame him for taking the offer. But we missed out on everyone which is why this year they are making up for it by taking two quarterbacks. Presently, UW's QB depth is nothing to write home about but with the additions of Sirmon and Yankoff, both of whom are enrolling early, they give us some legitimate depth at the most important position in football. My money is on Sirmon honoring his commitment and competing for the job. -

I never bash the kids for transferring when coaches do it all the time, and get paid millions for their trouble.jecornel said:Welcome to big time college football.
