In Romar doogs land, we will never be able to compete with Spokane and Eugene for the best recruits.

In Romar doogs land, we hate Mark Few because he only kicked Lorenzo's ass 9 out of the last 10 times, most by 20, and the only time we won was at home in overtime and iirc we were down by 17 and 12 in the second half.

In Romar doogs land, as long as you get all the soft, gym rat local AAU kids, you got it made, when in reality all that allows you to do is win the eastern/western/central/Bellevue CC/South Puget Sound CC non-conf schedule, the Pac-12 games against WSU and Beavers, and then you get exposed by better coaches in the conf, and in the tourney (if your not Duke/Carolina/Kansas/Kentucky/UCLA) where it's all about TEMPO and Valuing the Basketball !!!

The Gonzaga/West Virginia (although ugly), was "grown ass man basketball". Syracuse looks a lot like those teams and if Hopkins can recruit kids to that system, he can do things here.

PS: Sean Miller's team makes just enough bad decisions to not get over the hump.

We? led for almost that entire game until Morrison went nuts in the 2nd. Pendergraph threw up a prayer full court shot with like 6 seconds left and it was basically over. No OT.

WSU swept your shitty soft Bball team.

And Mike Hopkins won't move the needle much. He will get the kids that WSU can't. But the Kids that Oregon and Gonzaga are getting won't even sniff that cesspool that you think will somehow be resurgent because a tough Cuse guy is in charge now. You made your move 2 years too late and will be annually battling WSU for the basement in mens Bball for the next 3 years.

Gonzaga doesn't out recruit UW even in our shit years. I don't see either making a big impact in Seattle.

You are correct that no one will want to go to WSU though.

Putting in some cell phone towers in the empty plains surrounding Pullman would go a long way to help.

Feel free to compare the players that had UW and Gonzaga offers. Let me know which school won the majority.

Im saying exactly what I said. The players that have offers from both schools more often go to UW.

GU is made up of Canadians and mercenary transfers. It obviously works for them, but it doesn't affect UW's recruiting targets.

Gonzaga was good before they got a bunch of mercenary transfers, but they are the best at it.

They have had a lot of good players over the years. I'm not sure how Canadians and foreigners are ranked, but guys like Sabonis are an easy to spot 5 star. Elias Harris is a top 50 player. Sacre is a top 100. Austin Daye was a 5 star. Some of the transfers were highly rated recruits. I would say they recruit better than UW.

Basketball recruiting rankings are stupid because most of the top classes are filled with one and done types.
