My favorite part of the conspiracy that he didn't sign a LOI is that when they send in that paperwork it LITERALLY says at the top "NLI".
I think UW would know if it was an NLI or a financial aid paper. People are fucking dumb. -
Then there's the whole thing where a school can't comment, promote, mention, etc. any kid who hasn't signed a NLI and UW had been hyping MPJ through official channels nonstop. But yeah, the school was clear from the beginning that MPJ had signed an NLI. -
Yeah, they can comment on Financial Aid papers, a few years ago you couldn't because the penalties were pretty significant if that kid ended up not going to your school. Then the NCAA relaxed those penalties, so more schools take the "risk" of talking about players that sign financial aid papers now.
