Colson Yankoff...
So Sirmon got the word that he was committing, thus the tweet from him earlier.
Great get! Kids a baller. -
Yankoff for Yankoff!

"Yankoff will enroll early at Washington and arrive on campus in January."AlCzervik said:

I actually like this kid better than Sirmon. Sirmon should stick around and be the Cyler to Yankoffs Lindquist
-
Obviously this is a fascinating development. Lots to digest here and I'll try to get my thoughts out soon on it.
But regardless, this kid can play. -
Eklund put out one of his recruiting blogs today - 81% chance he didn't mention Yankoff.

Does Sirmon hold PAT's for Bothell?bananasnblondes said:I actually like this kid better than Sirmon. Sirmon should stick around and be the Cyler to Yankoffs Lindquist

Mariota

Boss move by Boss Peterman
-
I really hope Yankoff is our starting QB just for the culture.
-
The first play on his Hudl tape is enough for me. He steps through two guys on the rush and is hit by a third...still hits his WR deep for a TD.
-
Our QB coach is one hell of a recruiter!
-
-
Can Haener play TE?
Colson "the Jake" Yankoff.
Can you imagine Yankoff and Peneii Swell playing together? Yankoff needs to pull him hard to UW. -
Yankoff was interviewed by a scout reporter TODAY and he didn't even mention UW. Pete will LOVE this kid.AlCzervik said:Eklund put out one of his recruiting blogs today - 81% chance he didn't mention Yankoff.

Petersen gets shit done
-
I watched his hudl. Funky mechanics, no sure of his arm strength. Baller, though. Great size, speed combo.
-
Odds are one of them wont suck.
-
My 2 cents...
Why is everyone freaking out? Top programs take 2 qbs all the time.
Im guessing the most likely qb not to show up now is Haener.
If Sirmon is wavering I wonder if it's due to spending to much time with the undertaker.
Wonder how much of this (2qbs) is Lubbick pushing this...this is something Oregon did a lot of (with not a lot of success it should be added, although other schools have)
Wonder if this help for the Idaho DT or Jamillio.
Wouldn't surprise me to see both these guys get 2 years starting will be interesting to see who goes first.
-
I thought primo qb's wouldn't
come here for Jonathan Smith? -
Biggins reporting that Yankoff was offered a few weeks ago and was a done deal to commit but kept it quiet. I imagine Pete had a few talks with Sirmon before today

I don't think anyone is freaking out, I think it's just a really fascinating situation. Obviously if they both come (which I believe the coaches want them both to come) we will have a real competition at QB for post Browning life.HoustonHusky said:My 2 cents...

Reality we were looking at with just Sirmon in this class is the following battle in 2019: DBG, Haener, Sirmon, true frosh QB. That's not a championship level competition. (KJCS likely grad transfers).
Now we will look at a competition of: DBG, Haener, Sirmon, Yankoff.
And the Lubick factor is very interesting here. Yankoff got offered shortly after he came on staff. I know Lubick was a big factor in his recuitment at Oregon too. -

if Pete is heading more for an Oregon type of offense.
Recruiting bigger receivers, Lubick as co-OC, now a
dual threat QB. -

Lubick has successfully helped recruit both Trey Lowe and Colson Yankoff, plus also managed not to scare off Spiker. About as smooth of a transition as we could've dreamed of. -
I think more like Clemson or Ohio State than Oregon. Pete won't try to go no-huddle all the time.whuggy said:

Yeah, once that hire was made the concern about losing bush went way down. Lubick is a great recruiter and a very, very good coach to boot.NEsnake12 said:

People forget this, but Matt Lubick recruited Vontaze Burfict to ASU, people forget that.
