I like it. Sirmon is probably only here three years whether he redshirts or not, Yankoff gives you a viable backup and a great option to start for two years post Sirmon. If you can sell him on that, bring him in. -

Sirmon and his dad had some beef. When that happened, we started looking around. Now things have calmed down. We are still kind of recruiting other QBs nominally, but I don't think there's any realistic way we sign two.dnc said:

You could make a definite argument that there is a reasonable reason to get 2 QBs in this class PLUS Dylan Morris next year ... particularly if you think Sirmon is gone in 3 years regardless (I'm not sure that I buy that per se but it's definitely a possibility). -

I doubt the coaches would take Yankoff unless they thought he was the better QB. You wouldn't jeopardize getting Sirmon to do that.
Sirmon loves UW, blah, blah... No top QB prospect would put themselves through this when they can pick just about any other school in the country. -
