I'm what you call a "luke warmist". Think there will be some challenges in the coming decades and centuries, but I don't think anyone or the models can accurately predict whether temps will go up by 1 degree or 5 degrees Celsius over the next century. We fucked with the latter, the former not so much. Challenge is it's hard to make policy based on such uncertainty. I'm flying out to London today for a quick vacation so hope its still there when I arrive.

Took Geology in 2006. The professor went on this rant about how by 2012 not one glacier will be left. The fucker started to cry in class about how his children wouldn't know what one looked like. He then went on another tangent about oil consumption and by 2013 we would be screwed because nothing would be left.
Shit will hit the fan eventually but until then I'll keep laughing at all of our environmentally worried posters shitty threads about how it was really hot this week so WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!!!

People that exaggerate the problems like this create more skeptics. Glacial melt will raise sea levels, but it's obviously not happening at the rate many claim.

I don't give a fuck if some country disappears under the sea or a rainforest becomes smaller.

I agree the earth is warming and that the glaciers are melting at a high rate. But the sea levels aren't rising. If you want to attribute ocean acidity to the warming, you may have something there. But there are also other factors at work there as well. This big blue marble has experienced big swings in climate even in our recorded history.
But now that the EPA is being threatened I suppose libtard needs to over dramafy this issue as well. -
