There's a small part of me that feels sorry for Romar. When he deals with white people in the upper campus or athletic department. he can rarely be sure if he's being valued for his character or his skin color.

Romar will be retained and articles like that ^ will be written, as happens every year. Why is Romar held to a different standard than any other coach (or other profession...)? -
UW had a 16 game winning streak a few years ago. Should cancel out the current L streak.
Romar will most likely get another 1-2 years, because UW fans wanted a lot of new, stadium debt. -

I don't buy the budget bullshit for one second. The football team will fix the budget and they all know it.
A winning basketball team would really help too. The arena wasn't 1/2 full when they won.
There are schools in worse financial shape than UW and they still fire and hire coaches. UW can too. Whether they will is the issue. -
