Airlines generate about $4 billion a year in bag fees, and the Obama administration announced last fall it would seek to make them disclose those fees when people purchase their tickets.
Why don't we want that? I loved having taxes and fees included in the initial price when searching online. -

I mean just research the airline you're flying with. This is like asking for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. It's usually complimentary but sometimes you get charged. Be an adult and figure it out, Christ.

Foreign airlines >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Domestic US airlines. US airlines can eat shit with their nickel and dime bag fees, charging for movies and other crap. Hainan Airlines - free full course meals, a selection of 200 to 300 free movies, 500 music albums to listen to, free alcohol (drank White Russians all the way to Shanghai), 7 levels of adjustable tint on your window. No bag fees on any of the airlines I used in Asia.
