Interesting that he was co-OC at Boise, most Boise reports list that rather than OL coach. Guess he made in the mid 200 thousands. Strausser made 440,000. Boise peeps think it would have taken a big raise to get him to leave.
They also seem to think he "chose" to stay at Boise in 2014 when Pete came over. So probably some homerism going on. -

If I remember correctly, Petersen wanted to bring him over as our TE coach (he was TE coach at the time at Boise).
