    I was actually bitching to the wife about Hollywood rewarding a feel-good fluff film instead of a meaningful one, like they did in 1998 with Shakespeare in Love beating out Saving Matt Damon, and 1984 when Amadeus beat out The Killing Fields, when they corrected the error. Actually a pretty good moment with the La La Land guys graciously giving up their Oscars.

    Had they spent more time focused on their industry and awards show rather than working so hard to divide the United States and pretending to play politics, maybe they would have gotten the Best picture right and avoided coming off as clowns

    I agree. Star Wars has the Force, lightsabers, spaceships, and lasers. Moonlight barely had any of those things.
