If they can follow up this shitshow with a petty protest and chanting during the State of the Union address, Trumps reelection will be assured.

The fact that the left is roiled up over a process that usually happens quietly among party insiders actually shows something quite different. But OK.

I left the party long ago. But yes I'm sure the least popular President ever by tar at this point is a shoe in to get reelected. Progressive tea party is coming

The "progressives" deserve 8 years of Trump if they're going to be giant pussies about this. Welcome to the real world, where not everything is going to go your way.

Now I personally think that this is a colossal mistake, putting an establishment Dem with close ties to Obama and Clinton in charge of the party. But "progressives" are fucking idiots if they're going to straight up divide the party when that's the last thing that needs to happen if they want to win 2018 house seats and the 2020 election.

Win first, even if it's not winning in their "ideal" way, then bitch about inner-party politics.

they literally voted down not allowing corporate lobbyists to donate to the party yesterday.

this idea of "unity" needs to work both fucking ways.

You can't smear the candidate that the far majority of your base wants and then call for unity. Sorry.
