Longshot I suppose but great to see
we are still looking in Texas. -
The real question is who offered him?

Hopefully the ISIS leader.dnc said:The real question is who offered him?

Do we have a shot with this kid?

Well, we typically do well with 5-star WRs in Texas and I suspect this time won't be an exception. We will be in it until the end at the very least.CuntWaffle said:Do we have a shot with this kid?

I love that his name is a phonetic spelling of someone's initials

So this is a new one to me because normally when you hear Travis High School in Texas you are looking at Austin Travis ... not a Southwestern suburb of Houston.
The Houston area is where you're primary competition will be Texas A&M and LSU.
TAMU is in an interesting position because a lot of A&M buddies that I know are ready to pull the plug on Kevin Sumlin ... they are starting to understand what "Black Sark" really means. We know that Eddie O can recruit a ton but he's got to show some on the field results to back it up ... 8-4 isn't going to get it done there.
Texas is in an interesting spot right now because I would have expected a bit of a jump with Tom Herman getting the job because for high end recruits in the area one of the primary excuses that was given when he was at Houston for not choosing Houston was because he was at Houston (that's a tongue twister). But then he gets the Texas job and he loses big on some recruits at the end of the cycle. I'm going to be interested to see how it plays out.
TCU historically has been a player for recruits outside of the Austin and Houston areas as most of the bigger schools tend to focus most of their attention in the cities instead of the suburbs.
The offer in general seems a bit odd to me ... I do wonder if he has some kind of connection to UW in one form or another ... perhaps through Myles Rice. -
How does he compare to Osborne and Spiker?
