We dodged one bullet. But, when we were relatively certain (thanks, assholes) we were losing Lake - would you have traded Bush for Jimmy?

Jimmy LakeOn defense we have a monster coordinator who we might keep forever. I can't advocate pushing Kwat over Lake, therefore Lake's loss is inevitable.
On offense we have a weak link coordinator who I would fire yesterday. I can't advocate letting Bush go in order to keep Babushka.
The timing of this is better with regards to recruiting. But I did not expect to loose #MyBush so quickly. -

My reasoning too. Budda, Sid MF Jones and LAN are all going to be top 100 picks easily and only Budda was a top recruit. Bush has had one year (granted he couldn't have done a better job on-field or recruiting).

Bush HamdanI'm dumb and misread the question. I'd keep Bush for 2 reasons. First, we'll end up losing Lake next year, maybe the year after. Second, I thought Bush would eventually force Smith out the door.

Because we've seen him do two things - coach WR's and recruit - and he's badass at both of those. It's not unreasonable to think he could take the next step.
