Is there evidence he can't recruit outside of the Marlon Debacle? I'm pissed we lost him but I think that's less about anything Malloe did and more about Nansen. Unless there's more evidence than that I'm not ready to form an opinion.

I'll stop poking the bear and leave it at this. I feel like if Straussers recruiting liabilities start to outweigh his coaching and development then Petersen will kick him to the curb like Pease.

I am really curious who we are going to hire as our 10th coach. I suspect it might be Tom Osborne (he hasn't landed anywhere and we hired his kid) who coached TEs and ST for Oregon and is a good friend of Pete's.

I have thought he might also be given a title on the OL so he can recruit kids for the OL as well.

It would make some sense to me as a plan.
