And he said many guys on the team thought it was really gay (his words). The assistant strength coaches would actually get mad at guys on the sideline if they did not participate in the lawn mower dance.

Why is an assistant strength coach even on the sidelines? Obviously nothing since he has time to dance.

    Was that a trick question?

I've never paid attention enough to see which players are doing the lawn mower. Is it mostly back ups and walk ons or are some starters out there as well?

Regardless of who's leading it, Sark lets that shit happen. He's the head coach. If it didn't the players doing a lawn mower dance, he'd have stopped that shit.

Reminds me of when your Bruins had Ed Kezirian roaming the sidelines swinging a towel like a fucking maniac.

If the players want to lawnmower fine, but to have it synchronized and to get mad at players who don't participate is really lame. Very junior highish if you ask me.

I have an idea! Maybe the Huskies can rehearse a musical number, like in the "High School Musical" movie. And there will be consequences if they don't participate!!!

To be fair, the player seems to like Sark and he thinks they will be really good this season. When I said, "just please don't do the lawnmower again", he agreed and offered his thoughts it.

Serious question. I'm afraid to ask, but what the hell is the lawnmower dance?

Posting private conversation bullshit is fine. Start a whisper campaign and you're gone.

Every player has spoken about the difference between last years lawnmower dance and this years version.

I'm hearing the 2024 lawnmower dance could be special.

Lambright once criticized neuheisel for all the music played at practice...after neuheisel was fired. I wonder if he'll say anything now.

I'm calling bullshit. What kind of dick would wait until after a coach was fired to start criticizing his methods?

    Wow. Just wow.

What I noticed was Belton (is that his name) doing it alone for the first several games. Then a few players joined in sort of a mocking way. The were sort of making fun of it. Then more players joined in. I'm still thinking most of the players did it as a goof.

If this is the case, it's yet another example of how soft Sark is. Any coach or leader doesn't need to be Pat Hill TUFF to instill discipline in a team.

Belton (?) did start it. I remember reading an article about him and his lawnmower dance. I think you are right about it starting as a goof, but I think the lawnmower got to the point where you weren't being a team player if you didn't participate. I found it odd they had assistant strength coaches going up and down the sidelines encouraging players to join in. These guys are not 11 years old, and it is weird for anyone in the program to treat them as such.

We may have 0-12, but that lawn mower fucktardness may be rock bottom for this program. Sark and Woody not firing that fool speaks volumes.

Don't agree. We have been on a miserable run, but there's no reason we can't make it back to the top. It all depends on the coach. UW will never be a great team without a great coach. It's as simple as that.

What makes you think woody will hire a great coach?

Well hopefully him and Sark are a package deal and when we ax Sark, Woody goes as well. You raise a nice point though. It is hard to trust Woody to hire the right guy.
