Wrong. Obama's actions, slapping an historic number of economic regulations on the US economy and raising taxes are in direct opposition to economic liberalism, not in concert with it. As for the economy Obama created, most anemic growth rates we've experienced in many many decades.

This could actually be how Trump fucks himself. Because he did not listen to his advisers and fully divest himself of his 144 businesses in 25 countries, Trump is already on thin Constitutional ice under the Emoluments Clause. With this, the argument is now right there that Trumpy is putting his business interests ahead of national interests and security. While it probably won't lead to impeachment right away, it's an incredibly stupid (personally) move on Trump's part. Any decent legal mind could have a field day with this and some will.
