Referee killed by 17 year old after issuing yellow card. Rumors that the referee was of a pear-like shape have thus far been unconfirmed.

Sounds like the murderer should be put down. Oh nevermind. He was just an angry 17 year old. At 17 he can't be held accountable for his actions... 18 is the magic number there...

A 17-year-old accused of punching a soccer referee, causing his death, was charged Wednesday with homicide by assault, a third-degree felony.
The charge was filed in juvenile court, but Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill said his office will seek to have Jose Domingo Teran, of Salt Lake City, certified as an adult.
