One of my family's best friends (my mom's best friend) - her husband got shot that night at that place. I wonder how she feels right now about this. These killers ended up breaking into the houses of some of the people they killed on the very same night of that massacre.

Sorry for your loss - violent crime can rip a hole through a family.
I remember this case as we transplanted from the Bay Area to Seattle in the mid 80's. The case came up often in conversation. How can you line 14 people and execute them for a few thousand maybe twenty thousand bucks?

It was actually 1983 and I was 12 at the time. It shook the whole Puget Sound region. Back then when someone got murdered, and especially like that, it was shocking and big news. It's become more common these days. (murder in general)
