Grades were literally the only thing holding the coaches back from an offer, which is why second chance U schools like Ole Miss and Louisville have been recruiting him. Raw potential has always been there, dude is a freak.
But I'm sure Pete and crew pitched the diversity opportunity of having a big Gaye man on the team to Jen and Ana Mari Cauce, who simply couldn't say no to that and are turning a blind eye to the grades. -
