I really love this show. I read the Norse sagas in college and think they've done a nice job adapting them for TV (even if they are a little fast and loose with some of the characters and timelines).
I hope they cast somebody decent to play adult Alfred. -

I did some reading and it appears his sons (specifically Ironsides and Cripple) had legends as big or bigger than Ragnar. That whole fucking family was full of bad asses.
