Sarkisian protected the lead
Alabama ran the ball 21 times in the first half, 13 in the second.
Those two sentences are vintage Sark.
Protecting a lead would have been relying on the run, but Sark going to Sark and started chucking it.
I get Clemson was defending against the run, but keeping the clock running should have been a priority.
Even three yards a carry (Alabama was averaging 6.5) would have been enough to win that game. -
Finebaum set Keyshawn straight this morning. Said it was because of Sark and all the three and outs

It wasn't good enough for Sark to just win. He had to get cute and his "new plays" created doubt and uncertainty in the minds of his players.

This brings back memories of the 2009 game at UCLA with Polk hashing them in the 1st half and Sark throwing it around the yard in the second.topdawgnc said:Sarkisian protected the lead
