He's suppose to be a spring enrollee. I am pretty confident the staff will be able to retain him.

Remind me what exactly about this game was impressive, especially from a defensive standpoint? -
We do the same shit year after year.... Pete don't loose recruits he wanted
-
Are you sure they not confusing him with Jay Tufele? They both poly they might be confusing them.
-
No, the rumor is that they want Tui as a backup plan for Tufele. FWIW, Eklund says Marlon is visiting UW this weekend so hopefully Pete reminds him why he committed to UW and shows him the tongue and hands of Connor Weddington.WeakarmCobra said:Are you sure they not confusing him with Jay Tufele? I can't handle the ups and downs.
-
-
ektard says he confirmed he's visiting UW this weekend.
we'll see -
USC is tough to beat for recruits, but this is one position where we can say, play for a poly coach, show evidence of just how many DL have developed under Kwiatkowski since Boise, Petersen, and it's closer to home.
-
Usc gets what they want usually. But this is pretty late.

I hope Ikaika does not let this one get awayRoadDawg55 said:USC is tough to beat for recruits, but this is one position where we can say, play for a poly coach, show evidence of just how many DL have developed under Kwiatkowski since Boise, Petersen, and it's closer to home.

with pili still not offered no reason to think UW is worried yet.
-
He might flip, but I would be surprised if he did.
-
He'd be taking a commit from a school that brought him in at the last minute and said, "we like another guy better, but if he doesn't work out, we'll take you" over the team that he's been committed to and has kept in close contact with him gor months.
-
recruits do that all the time. look at tryon. it's part of recruiting.bananasnblondes said:He'd be taking a commit from a school that brought him in at the last minute and said, "we like another guy better, but if he doesn't work out, we'll take you" over the team that he's been committed to and has kept in close contact with him gor months.
it doesn't usually happen with teams who played in the CFP this year tho. -

Exactly why this made 0 sense to me when I first read it. Can't see this happening at all.bananasnblondes said:He'd be taking a commit from a school that brought him in at the last minute and said, "we like another guy better, but if he doesn't work out, we'll take you" over the team that he's been committed to and has kept in close contact with him gor months.

That would really be putting a butt fucking to the coaches.

Isn't this what UW does to Wazzu, like, every year?NEsnake12 said:

Yeah, but still... I do get a kick out of UW fans that say stuff like this or can't fathom how a local kid goes elsewhere when we steal at least a few guys LA guys from USC/UCLA every year.TTJ said:

But still, there's way more talent numbers wise in the city of LA alone than the entire state of Washington. Those few LA guys we? get are 2nds @ best, and that's only when we're winning. 90% of the time, SC gets 1st, UCLA gets 2nd pick. Just the way of the world.RoadDawg55 said:

Lol that guy is an idiot..
-
My guess is this....
Marlon is a very impressionable kid that has a hard time saying no to people. He probably got talked into taking a visit to USC during the Army practices by all of the USC commits there. Those guys told some USC publisher that Marlon was taking a visit and was going to come to USC because that's probably what Marlon told them to make them happy.
He takes a visit to UW this weekend and once again firms up his commitment and doesn't visit anywhere else now that he doesn't have that direct peer pressure. -

Not every year.
WSU only has commits worth poaching from time to time.
