Another reason Trump won. California's treatment of imprisoned trannys.

That's why they shoehorn it into the "health care" category, a la Psalm pushing the box into the closet. Orwell'd be impressed.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:
Constitutional right for elective surgery? I doubt it.allpurpleallgold said:If California is broke, I'm just ignoring Hondas post for now, I seriously doubt one medical procedure is the cause.
The prisoner argued that it's a constitutional right so if you want to argue against it you should probably come up with something better than "they're prisoners, fuck em". -
Unless you are unconscious when they decide to do the surgery all surgery is elective.Fire_Marshall_Bill said:

Clever. FMB obviously means not medically necessary. Because he's a rational human and a gainfully employed taxpayer, versus a pissant.allpurpleallgold said:

So if they find a doctor to call it necessary then they can have the procedure?TurdBuffer said:

Why isn't it called Heritage Care? Why did Obama fight so hard for something so shitty that you have to lie about it every time the subject comes up?
It's all his.
Obama wanted a win. He didn't give a shit what the bill was, he wanted his signature bill. And that's what Congress passed.
He had the votes for a public option. and if some retard blue dog like joe manchin wants to oppose you, you tell him you're going to end his career in the 2010 primary.
You don't think LBJ faced congressional opposition when he pushed for medicare? didn't matter. Obama was capable of doing the same, but didn't want to -
So, you're saying Obama was incompetent? Arrogant? Inexperienced? a bit of each?

I dunno if it's simply weakness. People are pathological. I think Obama overestimated his popularity and eloquence with his opposition, many of whom kept quiet in the face of a new, different and popular President they didn't want to be labeled as racist for opposing. Of course McConnell is not in that group.dhdawg said:

In California, yes, convicted murderers and felons are entitled to a sex change operation at taxpayer expense if they say "I feel more like a woman than a man."allpurpleallgold said:

Money well spent when kids go hungry and people can't find shelter. Totally legit.
