We scored anyway on the Budda non INT. Psalm fumble was huge. He made a great play. Ross fumble was unfortunate. He had two hands on the ball, he just got beasted.EwaDawg said:
Yep. The Psalm non recovery of the fumble. The Budda non interception. The stupid int. by Browning. The defensive delay of game (hand clap) on 'Bama that wasn't called. The Ross fumble.Meek said:i know it's sarkesque to say this, but 3-4 plays were really the difference in this game.
No excuses - 'Bama caused these things to happen. But, we had a chance. .
The Pick 6, the 3rd and 8 run from the goal line and the 70 yard TD run all make me want to break shit around me. -

Another fucking THIS. Look at Psalm's hands on the fumble. He's trying to scoop the ball underhanded. Jesus Christ. You're going down, Psalm. Pounce or fall on the fucking ball. Didn't it bounce off his helmet, too? Or was it the back of his incorrectly positioned hand? I can't recall, but I just recall standing up and walking out of the room, screaming "FUCK ME!!!"EwaDawg said:

Less worried about no-call than 3 guys that missed the tackle.Postal91 said:tableflip.gif - Thanks for posting it. So infuriating when it should be an easy call.

This. You should be a Cuog if you are crying about no flag. We had three guys right there.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Thing is, the ESPN douchebags were creaming themselves watching this in slo-mo, jizzing over how powerful a runner he was - oblivious to the obvious holding.Postal91 said:tableflip.gif - Thanks for posting it. So infuriating when it should be an easy call.

Then again, Psalm still had a chance to affect the play, but takes the wrong angle, behind the play, fire-dancing or some shit. -
Foster is going to be a good pro...plus he knows how to punch a guy with his helmet on. Good on Harris for stepping in on that too. That's the kind of shit we need to see...not Browncock trying to play pattycake with some dude named Da'Ron that is 300 lbs.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
Harris. I like that kid.

This just makes me love Harris more. Kids a fighter. he came up swinging.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
Minkah got his head beat in several times. McGary finished him off. There's no way he would pass the NFL concussion protocol. He's sitting in a dark room struggling to keep his food down. Of course Saban will have him play. Watch him get crippled Monday night.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
Kid got big brass balls. He fucked up a lot during the game, but never stopped competing.AEB said:Harris. I like that kid.

Gaines split a double, got held, got to the runner only to be taken down from behind and hit by two of his own players.GrundleStiltzkin said: -
From the standpoint of losing a down and about 5-7 yards. We had enough trouble against that D without losing a play because "Center" didn't know who the hell was clapping.GrundleStiltzkin said:

That and Psalm just completely ignoring everything he's been taught by the coaches about keeping outside contain. You see it in practice all the time, use your leverage, his leverage was inside, the way it's taught, but for some reason he tries to get inside of Cam Robinson. He needs to do everything he can in that situation to just stone Cam and keep his outside arm free. UGGGGGGHGrundleStiltzkin said:

Good thing she isnt at oregon. She wouldnt have known she got raped.

Browning actually did what you want your QB to do there. Get in just enough of the way to see if maybe the DLineman will take a little push at him and give you a free 15, but then when he doesn't, get the hell out of the way and let the men talk.Ice_Holmvik said:

The name is still Allen, not Trey. -
Allen getting in so quickly slowed down Daniels ... while Daniels got a chip on Allen that helped spring Gaskin into the hole ... it left Gaskin running bare through the hole magnifying Shelton's inability to sustain a block on Foster.GrundleStiltzkin said:Gaksin run. This is example of scheme on UW part, but just not being quite good enough. TE double on Allen, which worked, but Shelton can't keep block on Foster

Another thing to notice on the play is look at how quickly the Alabama safeties crash on the run to further magnify their numbers in the box ... IF you could run some kind of flea flicker type of action on them you could have a chance to hit a play on them over the top without safety help ... problem is that the ability to sustain your blocks against their front for that long is a very difficult sell.
It's a great example of how each unit builds on the next ... it's where we're working towards getting to. -
I submit this as Exhibit A as to why anybody that is defending Nick Harris playing this year as a sign of how great he'll become next year is a fucking DOOG idiot ...GrundleStiltzkin said:
It's an indictment on our recruiting and development at the OL position that Nick Harris was playing in this game ...
It's also why on the preview for the game on the TSIO Podcast we were so adamant about why Nick Harris COULDN'T play in this game ... it took 3 plays for that to be self-evident in a BIG way. -
If you can grab this from the replay it is even more amazing ...GrundleStiltzkin said:
Budda immediately takes a step in to cover the motion in the slot before reading Hurts's eyes and knowing that Howard is going in behind him, turns his exquisite hips, and make a bee line for where the pass will go ...
An ELITE play by Budda
