UW defense= lay-up/dunk line for opponents

When I die, one of the unsolved mysteries I am going to get solved is why Fultz came here?

But for the pro Romar doogs, missing the tourney doesn't matter, which I will never understand.

It's always special losing to an albino point guard

I'm glad I only watched 4 minutes of this shit ...

There's no defending losing to Ernesto ...

Anything more than 3 conference wins would be amazing at this point

over on another husky site all the doogs were claiming a 9-9 conference season. I fail to understand who we? will compete with on the road(so we go 0-9 there), and we will lose at least half our home games.

I wish Fultz went to Kentucky or something

    He's a fucking looser.

I hope the 76ers draft him.
You are a fucking idiot. But you (and everyone else) already knew that.

Popped in to see if there was a thread on this game. Was not disappointed

I feel like I saw the same layup five times

If he wanted to be part of a winning college program, he wouldn't be at Washington.

He chose to be a looser.

Clearly, our goal in defending the high screen was to keep Hawkinson from draining 3's.

Mission accomplished. Hawkinson did not kill us with 3's. (Sarcasm alert)

We sacrificed defending Hawkinson in exchange for giving up a much higher percentage shot ... mildly contested layins.

That was our plan, right? Because, there is NO other way to explain what the fuck just happened there.

There is this novel idea of help defense, rotations, working as a team, etc

I also realize that requires coaching

Please send any of those 9-9 idiots my way ...

I haven't even looked at our schedule so I have no clue who we play when/where ...

Any win over UCLA, Arizona, or Oregon is a pipe dream ...

I'd be very surprised at any win over USC, Cal, Utah, or Colorado simply because they are all better coached

I guess Stanford is possible but only at home (I think we're road there for sure)

ASU is doable because they are guard oriented, jack 3's, and kinda suck ...

The two worst teams are WSU and Oregon St ... I'd have thought we'd likely sweep both but I'm expecting we'll now lose both to the Cougs now ... Oregon St is really bad though

    I think I said 5-13 before tonight ... 3-4 wins seems right now ...

    I'm rooting for 0-18
Flagged for caring about our? Basketball team

I think that there has to have been a plan. (Seriously)

Because there is no fucking way that any group of D-1 players would have chosen to defend that shit in that manner if left to their own devices. Decent pick-up hoops figures out a way to defend that in about 2 trips down the court.

Or .. here's a thought ... how about going back to the shitty 2-3 zone that we've spent so much time working on prior to conference play? It's shitty, but at least it would have forced WSU to do something different.

It's pretty simple really. If a team is beating you with the dribble drive, you sell out to stop it and make someone else beat you.

Instead here was zero help defense to stop Flynn. He had a free bucket all night.

It's yet another solid coaching adjustment made before and then during the game.
