We can beat really talented teams, we just have to play better is all and just get a little more talent on the OL. (And also coach better, but that's another point for another time).

We're a very good team for the PAC ...
We're probably good enough to beat the elite Big 10 schools ...
But we're not good enough to beat the national teams right now ... it's a Jimmy vs Joe issue ...
The good news is that this "process" made that crystal clear to Pete ... it will probably take another few years to get there throughout the roster but I have confidence that we'll get to that point.
