Mathis OKG?

There is something a little fishy about it to me. Mathis plays great against Oregon, then after the bye, sits against Oregon State. At first, Petersen was saying, "Hopefully we get him back sometime soon." Then a week or two later, he's having surgery on both feet.NeGgaPlEaSe said:
Even worse, what type of bye week injury happens to both feet during low contact practiceGladstone said:
The injury did happen during the bye week.NeGgaPlEaSe said:

I can think of one case in 15 years. Bilateral calcaneal fractures... guy shows up in ER... wtf happen? Dude says husband came home he had to jump out of the window, second story, result, bilateral calcaneal fractures.
I think he did hurt his foot. It would be too weird for him to come out on senior day with the cast and scooter if he didn't. Something is still strange about it though.
For all the talk about how Petersen wouldn't cover it up, I disagree. He didn't disclose the real reasons why Peters or Gardenhire were kicked off the team. He acts in the best interests of the players. -
Sark recruit who was destined to MCCafery the bowl game anyway

It sounds like he might have had a nagging injury that he aggravated in practice. I recall reading that he was trying to rehab it, but that it was not improving from week to week, which is why he finally had surgery.
It's interesting that it was on both feet. Maybe the doctor talked him into a 2-for-1 special. I don't know. Speculating is fun. -
Bullshit, bilateral foot surgery is not a nagging fucking injury... a stress fracture, throw a bone stim on it, healed in 6 weeks. What the fuck nagging injury could he have on both fucking feetFenderbender123 said:It sounds like he might have had a nagging injury that he aggravated in practice. Like I said...I have no idea about anything.
