"The Huskies have not play anything like Alabama. Alabama is the top of the tier in college football. Alabama will beat them like a drum. Alabama 35, Washington 10. And the game will be all Crimson Tide"

This guy likes his Tide in this one.

The title is a little vague. I think the point is the under old regimes more good in-state players would head out of state like to Oregon, so staying here is good. But in sheer numbers, the Huskies are have a very minority profile of WA guys.

Washington has the most first team p12 players in program history, this isn't our best team, so defecto, the conference is a dumpster fire this year, but we already knew that.

2nd best team since 91. It would be tough to bet against the 2000 team because they always found a way, but this team is a lot better talent and coaching wise.

The only spots the 2000 team is better at are OLB, TE, and QB. Our TE's and QB are good too, but Tui and Stevens were great.

The team has performed the best since 91, but I have a hard time thinking a line with 1 frosh and 2 sophs is as elite as they've looked.

Alabama starts a frosh, soph and 2 jr's. How do they look?

Like a team that LSU or Ole Miss could have beat.

Adams and McGary >>>> Silvers and Wes Call. The 2000 team had a good line, but this one is better. Throw in Dissly/Sample and it's not close.

Rapp/JoJo/Budda >> Akbar/CW/Carothers.. The safeties on the 2000 team were good too.

Omare Lowe was a pretty good CB, but Jones and King are way better.

The 2000 team could probably beat this one, especially considering they beat Miami, but talent wise, it's not close.

Off the 2000 team that would start on this year's team.

    Tui
    Chad Ward at G
    Stevens
Triplett (the 3 we have now would play a lot)
    Pharms
    The OG Darrell Daniels (maybe)
    Akbar
Elstrom would be Ross/Pettis top backup

Starters/contributors on the 2000 team like Alexis/Hurst, Mahdavi, Ryan Julian, DJ/Roc/Massey, and Wes Call wouldn't touch the field.

2000 was a 8-9 win team willed by Tui to 11 wins. This year's team actually has top flight talent with way more future pro's than 2000.

I still think it's an overal talent issue. For example, The two corners behind that redshirted aren't even on the depth chart this year. You have two first rounders Leaving and talent in place to step in and be stars.... and if they aren't Pete and Lake recruited more guys who will be.
