If we win, it's not because Petersen recruited and developed the players into a top flight unit. Maybe by an off chance we win on some trick play or a fake punt or FG, but the reason we will be in the game is because we played a sound game. The media sucks with their bullshit stories they create. -
As always I think back to my youthful ward, Bobby Bowden, who said that as far as he could tell it was a big game if they lost it. Said that they had to win a boatload of little games though to get there.
That was when he was searching for a National Championship and Miami was in his way -
Petersen is one of the top 5 coaches in the country.
He develops players, and consistently wins.
About the only coaches I would trade him for would be Saban or Meyer. -

He wanted that season over. That was not only my least favorite Husky team of all time but I'm pretty sure that Pete would say that was his least favorite team. EVER. Lots of talent and expectations but the stink of Sark all over every facet of that crews mindset and prep. The band-aid was pulled off that year and the healing began in 2015.
