I love bowl season
I love every bowl played no matter how minor or meaningless
-
I'd rather win the Holiday bowl than make it to the Peach bowl and lose
-
I totally forgot about all these shit bowls. The ones before Xmas with Mac, Wac, and Sun Belt trash are the worst.
-
I didn't know this until recently, but ESPN owns and operates many of these shit-tier bowls:
* Armed Forces Bowl
* Birmingham Bowl
* Bahamas Bowl
* Boca Raton Bowl
* Camellia Bowl
* Celebration Bowl
* Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
* Hawaiʻi Bowl
* Heart of Dallas Bowl
* Las Vegas Bowl
* New Mexico Bowl
* St. Petersburg Bowl
* Texas Bowl
If they continue to shed subscribers, you have to think these will be cut eventually. -
Good. At a bare minimum a team should have a winning record to be bowl-eligible. Preferably 8-4/9-3 oso.UWhuskytskeet said:I didn't know this until recently, but ESPN owns and operates many of these shit-tier bowls:

@#osostrongdawg true??? -
The best thing about having all these bowls is the same whining every year from hot take sports talk about how there are too many bowls.
Who cares? If one person gets enjoyment from the Preparation H Bowl then I am all for it even though I probably won't be watching -
Right wingers and neo liberal economic types get too carried away with the "the market will solve all of our problems" but in this case it might. BSPN's subscriptions are way down in general. The ratings for these bowls have to be hurting too. At some point the schools who are losing money will say enough is enough, or players will start mimicking Fournette and McCafferty (which I'm fine with if it's a collective effort, not a sit out because it's all about draft status thing).
