Not a bad hire for them at all. 2-10 in year 1 to back to back 10 win seasons in years 3-4. Good offenses. Fundamentally sound defenses.

First off fuck Baylor.
Now that that's out of the way, I'm pretty happy they didn't go for Dykes. Possibilities in a Cal coaching search include Kiffin (great recruiter and who knows what he's learned from Saban) and Leavitt (fuck). Instead they have a guy whose defense is so bad he should probably consider onside kicking every time and generally seems to be a poor fit for Cal. -
