Take that No Cal. Drove by Oracle Arena yesterday and scoffed in its direction as I recalled games 5 and 7.

Warriors radio guys were confirming they were still little brother to So Cal before the game was played.

The young Lakers ran them out of the Forum*

    People likely don't want to admit it but having someone like Kobe around for the young players learning what it takes to be a professional and how to carry yourself, prepare, etc. can't have anything but a positive effect in the long-term. When you combine that with someone like Luke Walton who can come in and bring all the positive parts of team, sharing, etc. that Kobe can't necessarily talk about in recent years is huge.

    The Lakers are fun to watch play and you can see glimpses ... they'll be better than not sooner rather than later

    The Lakers obviously lucked into this but they actually did the rebuilding process perfectly. Kobe kept the seats filled and they added 3 high lottery picks. If I didn't know Jim Buss was incompetent I'd call him a genius.
