Is UCLA Targeting UW's Jonathan Smith?

Should Husky fans be concerned that UCLA is looking to poach their
up-and-coming offensive coordinator?

UW needs to tie him down with a big fat raise and massive contract extension, IMO

@sportboner what are you hearing? Fleens?

Please, REAL God, let Mora take his place alongside Saint Patrick Haden in the hallowed halls of Hardcore Husky Sainthood.

Jokes aside, why would smith want to leave an established coach likely to sign a new contract extension(Petersen), and hitch his wagon to a sinking ship (mora)?

I answer your question with a question: why would an offensive coordinator who has Jake Browning at QB, Myles Gaskin and Lavon Coleman at RB, John Ross and Dante Pettis at WR, and some decent TEs think that running the wildcat with a 4th string true freshman WR who hasn't run the ball all season sounds like a good idea?Passion said:All jokes aside, why would smith want to leave an established coach likely to sign a new contract extension(Petersen), and hitch his wagon to a sinking ship (mora)?

"Sorry, honey, can't make it home again tonight. This job is a lot more demanding than the last one. How was shopping today? Did you find a new couch?"

It would seem that DawgsWiin's BRO ban from 2008 hasn't been lifted yet

I think this is awesome, but it would be one helluva script for this to happen and then find out that Smiff was actually pretty damn good at his job.

Smith goes elsewhere and has the best running game in the country and recruits and develops great QB's.dnc said:I think this is awesome, but it would be one helluva script for this to happen and then find out that Smiff was actually pretty damn good at his job.

UCLA may have to move quickly if they want him. I think I saw on Pure Orange pre-Civil War that Anderson was interested in bringing him back to Corvallis. He's still pretty young, but he's made great strides this last year. Hot commodity, impressed a lot of people up in the PNW
HH is not his source -

Did Smitty not call a good game? Would you rather he call Michigan's game vs buckeyes? Yous guys are the most ignert collection of clueless cunts on the interwebs. I just tune in for laughter and a well deserved ass lashing for each and every one of yous, dipshit by dipshit, right on down the line.

4. Jonathan Smith, Washington – It's a long shot that Smith would leave Petersen at Washington but Orgeron needs that kind of splash and Smith has engineered one of the most explosive and efficient offenses in the country in Seattle.

If this happens we need to build a shrine at Husky Stadium for both LA schools/AD's!

Good god, please take him

Pumpy has a point. Without our offensive game planning we'd be a three loss team right nowpuppylove_sugarsteel said:Did Smitty not call a good game?
