I am in the minority (yes, I am messican)

I guess I could get behind a 6 team playoff with the 5 conference champions getting an automatic bid ... and one team AFTER the bowls getting the at large.
But as it sits now ... tOSU should be out. Just my opinion.

They could be the national champ but they can't even win their own conference.
Losers lose. -
8 teams. 5 conf. champs. 3 at large.
top 4 seeds host quarterfinals.
This year that would be (assuming things hold the way they should)
1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. UW
4. Wiscy
5. Oklahoma
6. tOSU
7. Michigan
8. maybe USC?
In this case, there will be controversy, but less. if you are angry about not getting in, tough, win your conference. -
Agree.
See 1984 for further details. -
I'd let in the top Group of 5 champ before a third at large.dhdawg said:8 teams. 5 conf. champs. 3 at large.

2011 Alabama says Fuck Off. Don't schedule a bunch of fucking pussies in non-con

solid point. that Alabama team faced a tough OOC slate of Penn State (9th conf game) Kent State, Georgia Southern, and North Texastacotrojan said:2011 Alabama says Fuck Off. Don't schedule a bunch of fucking pussies in non-con

There's a chance that Ohio State gets to sit home if Wisconsin beats Penn State in the Big 10.

Just make those 8 teams into the traditional jan 1 bowls, winners into the playoffdhdawg said:8 teams. 5 conf. champs. 3 at large.

Normal progression, but sounds too sane.LoneStarDawg said:
