So did I, back in 1992. Was moving to DC, didn't know quite what I was getting myself into, wanted something cheap that I could throw in the river if I needed to. Got a Davis P380. Fucking thing jams 40% of the time. Not a good ratio. Tried to sell it back to a gun dealer several years later; he wouldn't take it, even to destroy. I might well be wrong, but because of import restrictions, I believe they must be made in the US.

Edit: Yep I'm wrong on that.

Glocks are too boxy in my small hands. Had a SIGP220 for a few years back in the day, couldn't shoot it very well either, so I traded it for a Mini-14 (Team Ruger - love my GP100)
