Smith as O.C. equals no playoff, ever.

Cook it. The guy has been given every chance to succeed, but failed. The offensive showing last night was absolutely anemic, on the order of a Cyler Miles led effort.
I have zero faith in Smith as OC, based entirely upon the evidence in the record. He does not, and apparently cannot, call a proper, good game against the top Pac 12 defenses. Last night's game plan was guaranteed to lose, by Smith calling multiple, low percentage plays his players have had great difficulty in executing all season long.
He knows his QB is deadly up to 30 yards, so he calls multiple 40 yard bombs to receivers who have to slow down or stop, waiting for the fluttering ball, only so they can engage in a jump ball contest against a very talented, athletic SC secondary.
People blame players for not executing, but who's fault is it when an OC calls plays his players can't execute?
It's a very simple reality test: Can you succeed in getting the most out of the players you have? Or do you dream of success with the players you wish you had? Smith seems stuck in the latter, calling risky, low percentage plays against a bona-fide SC defense who came ready to play.
Grade F, even after a season of Tedford tutelage. And the rest of the Pac 12 knows it.
If CP doesn't fire Smith at the end of the season, well, don't bank on 2017 being anything special, as other teams are on the March too, and will go right past us if we don't jettison Smith's dead weight, and soon.

What baby sitter can Pete find for next the next two weeks? Can someone remind the coaching staff UW has three tight ends?

Its funny because one of those TEs could be playing rush end and replacing wooching or potatoes and just be subbed in as a blocking TE specialist when neededjecornel said:What baby sitter can Pete find for next the next two weeks? Can someone remind the coaching staff UW has three tight ends?

Chincredibled if you actually did dial that in to the Honks!!! -
They dialed up 2 great plays for Daniels. Pettis missed him (due to pressure) and Jake overthrew the 2nd one.jecornel said:What baby sitter can Pete find for next the next two weeks? Can someone remind the coaching staff UW has three tight ends?
You guys act like we have a bunch of Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Grahams on this team.
You guys were praising the TEs about a week ago for their blocking job. -

Is Tedford still with the team or was yesterday evening the first game he was gone in Fresno?
