I wouldn't use the word "relieved" as I think beating USC would've helped with recruiting, nevermind the playoff implications - but I see your point. We (?) were like Icarus flying too close to the CFP sun, and now we're crashing back down to earth.
Hopefully we get key players healthy, find a new handler for Babushka, take the gold helmets out of storage, and finish the season strong. -
