You know who's a baller?

I'm watching the Utah game again and am reminded Jojo McIntosh is going to bring the wood damn near every time.
No. 14 is a worthy successor to UW's take-no-prisoner safeties from the past, guys like Dashon Goldson, Shane Pahukoa and my all-time favorite Husky from Lincoln High in Tacoma

Can't wait to watch McIntosh continue to develop under some great coaching. Think he can blossom into a future All-American.

JoJo has hate in his heart.

Last year who over commit to the big hit and whiff a ton. He still wraps the least of our DBs, but he seems to be coming in with more control and not missing as many tackles.
Love seeing him laying guys out. -
on Utah's first series Williams ran for about 9-10 yards and then JJM crunched him. You could tell that Williams didn't get hit like that often and ultimately I think hits like that wore him out into the 2nd half.

We've had some bad MFs patrolling the back end of the Husky defense. -

(Or whatever the fuck - axe TTJ) -
He's going to have to learn how to cover if he's going to be an All American.

Watching now, - and he has some amazing hits.

This. Some great hits but also some times gets way out of position.Dennis_DeYoung said:He's going to have to learn how to cover if he's going to be an All American.

He'll get better, but the coaches don't need him to be blanketing guys like Sidney Jones or Kevin King.Dennis_DeYoung said:He's going to have to learn how to cover if he's going to be an All American.
Enforcers at safety like McIntosh thin out the receiver traffic in the middle of the field. -

Shane Pahukoa and Tommie Smith wow what a pair of safties ! Of course the old Pac joke was back in the day was ' the best running back in the Pac was playing saftey for Washington' ( Tommie Smith )

Thanks for this, I forgot we already plungered Cal once this year.GrundleStiltzkin said:JoJo has hate in his heart.
Feeling a lot better about Saturday night now. -
They sort of use him like a hockey goon, plays for the big hits because you know that the other guys will clean up behind him.

Cal beat us at home last year. They won't forget that.dnc said:

And this guy.

I like the Akbar comp. Or CJ Wallace, who was a reliable tackler and legit enforcer on an otherwise putrid defense.
JoJo doesn't have the freak athleticism of a Milloy or Parrish. But I like him. He and Rapp will keep it locked down for years to come. -

Players under Pete get better and he's a RS-Soph. I think he will be a lot better in coverage next year even.
