Road to the playoff - In depth version

Step 1 - UW outscore all teams left on their schedule

Step 2 - Cuogs outscore all teams on their schedule prior to Apple Cup

Step 3 - Cuogs score less than UW in the Apple Cup

Step 4 - Stanford outscore all teams remaining on their schedule.

Step 5 - Utah or Colorado outscore all teams on their schedule prior to Pac 12 Championship game

Step 6 - Utah score less than UW in the Pac 12 Championship game

Step 7 - UW in the Top 4.

Check back later on how UW can avoid Bama in the semis.

    Given this committee, I'm not sure that being undefeated will get us a 2 or 3 over a 1 loss SEC team or Michigan/OSU. In fact, I'd bet it won't.

    Can we ever score LESS than our opponents in a game? What if we scored less and still won? Or, is outscoring them really the primary way to beat them?

    Consider what happens if two SEC West teams make the playoff. Would the Committee want them to meet in a semifinal rematch?

    UW needs aTm to lose another.

    Not as long as UW wins out.

    If UW doesn't win out we need a lot more than aTm to take another loss.
