Stack of resignation letters on Comey's desk because of the double-standard toward Hillary.:
'Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,' said the source. 'They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.'
According to the source, Comey fretted over the problem for months and discussed it at great length with his wife, Patrice.
He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents. The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom.

Comey caused the problem by either giving into pressure from Clinton/Obama at the beginning or by going with kid gloves and giving her a pass...any normal FBI investigation for an average citizen would have entailed the FBI showing up at any and all residences and confiscating this type of stuff from the very beginning. The fact it didn't happen shows the double standard being applied to Hillary, and I bet if it wasn't the NY field office that uncovered it then it probably would have been swept under the rug.
Now its going to be headlines for the next year plus...

The FBI has access to Trump's tax returns if the need should arise, and The FBI hasn't demanded that Trump release emails to a pending criminal investigation. The same can't be said about her emails. This is so true and highlights what has been one of the fundamental differences between the parties for several decades now. Both parties have plenty of bad actors, but the GOP is far more likely to hold their own accountable when they've been caught. Democrats on the other hand are more likely to verbally "take responsibility" without accepting real tangible consequences that go along with true accountability.
