Jesus Christ, no. The question is whether they would overtake a one loss Ohio State or Michigan.
-
Ohio State and Michigan will cancel each other out. Winner of that game is in, presuming they beat Finland in the Big 10 championship.
They aren't taking Louisville if Clemson is in. UW will get in if they win out. They likely won't if they drop one. -

I do remember that new years day in the 1980s. Washington won the Orange, USC won the Rose, UCLA won the Fiesta. All on the same day!

Every time I remember this Volunteer Half Brain movement coinciding with Our Huskies closing in on the playoffs I just laff and laff and laff.

Not an undefeated UW. But mos def a 1-loss UW.
Goes without saying that ACC is much better than the Pac this year. -
How does Louisville go 12-1 and threaten an undefeated UW? Wouldn't they have to win the ACC meaning Clemson would be 10-2? Louisville would go 11-1 and in no way would threaten a 13-0 UW team.
-
Remember when Notre Dame went to the BCS National Championship game a couple years ago?
Same with UW. Even if they look like frauds on paper, they remain undefeated then they go. -

I say a lot of bullshit when I'm drunk, too. -
Louisville and Clemson are in the same division, and they've already played. So if both win out, Clemson is unbeaten and wins the conference and Louisville finishes with one loss.PineapplePirate said:How does Louisville go 12-1 and threaten an undefeated UW? Race Bannon, True?

Sounds like DeLarry needs to spend more time in the film room before ripping it like that.

Correct, but only with 11 wins, not 12.dnc said:

DeLarry's thought was that when you combine east coast bias and Louisville's schedule being perceived as tougher than UW's then it could spell trouble for us.PineapplePirate said:How does Louisville go 12-1 and threaten an undefeated UW? Not at all comparable. Motte dame played one of the toughest schedules in CFB that hear. The reason they were seen as frauds was the way they were winning was flukey and at times reliant on their opponents completely shitting the bed. UW on the other hand looks impressive vs a softer scheduleBrickSquad said:Remember when Notre Dame went to the BCS National Championship game a couple years ago?

They were also beneficiaries of a number of bad calls by the refs that went in their favor

You forgot one of this board's rules:PineapplePirate said:How does Louisville go 12-1 and threaten an undefeated UW? Wouldn't they have to win the ACC meaning Clemson would be 10-2? Louisville would go 11-1 and in no way would threaten a 13-0 UW team.
Doogs hate facts. -
A one-loss Power 5 division runnerup is not getting in over an undefeated Power 5 team.DerekJohnson said:

Right. Louisville's best case baring Clemson collapse is 11-1. I agree that's not getting in over an undefeated UW, though I don't think the difference between 12-0 and 13-0 is that meaningful. 12-0 UW would get in over 11-1 Louisville. 13-0 UW would get in over 12-1 Louisville.PineapplePirate said:
