His contract is public record....can't imagine this hasn't been mentioned by anyone before.Dardanus said:I heard that Helfrich has a unique clause in his contract where if he wins fewer than 5 games in two consecutive years his buyout is 0.
If this is indeed true, it would behoove Oregon to give Helfrich more time.
If not, they should still give him more time.
***edited**** I couldn't find a clause that said anything about actual performance on the field.

buyout: Written notice + Not during regular season + Up to $3,000,000 depending upon the year of resignation
so if it gets to that point, ducks gonna drive over him and then drag him down the street.
In the event, the team wins 11 games the term of the contract is automatically extended by a period of 1 Year.
so he's got 2+ years, nice, nice. -
You sir, are just not classy, I NEVER root for injuries. So classless of you.RoadDawg55 said:
I don't give a fuck if every team in the conference sucks as long as UW is good.PurpleJ said:I want Oregon to hire Chip Kelly back so we can have a REAL rivalry.
All you fags rooting for Oregon to suck again are the biggest doogs here.
Wanting a great rivalry is some doog shit imo. It ranks right up there with hoping nobody on the other team is injured so we can get their best shot.
By the way, Marcus Williams looks like he won't play this week for Utah, this devastates me. I was praying for a speedy recovery for him. UGH -
Might as well merge with the WAC.RoadDawg55 said:
Weak conference, strong conference, who gives a shit?PurpleJ said:WRONG!
I want to end their undefeated season every year and beat a TUFF USC team in the conference championship. Doogs want a cake walk in a weak conference.

Michigan/Ohio State and Auburn/Alabama would disagree with RoadDoogFS. I'm sure lots of others. People wonder why the west coast fans get made fun of and called soft.
This is a prime example of why. Conference of champions. -
And there's not a fan of any of those four programs who wants the other program to do well so it can stay a rivalry.PurpleJ said:Michigan/Ohio State and Auburn/Alabama would disagree with RoadDoogFS. I'm sure lots of others. People wonder why the west coast fans get made fun of and called soft.

Looks like it's 50% of the buyout, not zero. Unless I'm totally mistaken, which is possible (not a lawyer). -
A smart fan would DISAGREE with you.dnc said:
