This whole Joe Mathis in a boot thing is bullshit. There was one erroneous report during the week that he was in a boot. He was seen on the sidelines Sans boot. They are saying they thought it was season-ending but now it's not. On today's depth chart He's listed as 4th string? That doesn't make one lick of sense. They have never listed a fourth-string defensive end especially if he is hurt. Joe Mathis Did something. I don't know what. Hope to God it wasn't meet with an agent or take money.

He has (just had? Idk) a kid so the money angle makes some sense. His twitter is vague, no mention of injury.

He had a brace on his knee under his sweatpants (!!!!), he had a pretty good limp going too.
