Damn I'm pathetic.

It's nice to get away with one every now & then.
The Huskies have had their share of getting shit on by officials.
Glad the TD counted, especially since it set the tone for the rest of the game.
Fuck Oregon! -
What's the issue? Is taunting a deadball foul or something?
-
I think there's a newer rule that penalizes tainting before a TD is scored. In that case, it'd be a 15-yard penalty and first & goal from the 16.Mad_Son said:What's the issue? Is taunting a deadball foul or something?

I resent the implication PAC-12 refs fucked up the rule(s)

I would have liked to see the 15 yarder, and then still shove it in 2 plays later.
Taste it! -
yes, because Oregon has never won a game at home because of beneficial Pac12 reffing.
i can't recall the specific game but it was a season opener at home against Nebraska or Oklahoma or someone and Oregon only won because of some bad reffing decision near the end maybe on a kick off or something. -
-
Even if it didn't count UW would have scored again on the next play.
-
That is the worst rule change in college football. You should not be allowed to take points off the board that are won on the field because your feelings are hurt.
-
Was the taunting penalty based upon the finger point only or also the trash talking after he was in the end zone?

I'll never forget watching that game while visiting a buddy in California. He liked the bad call because it was "good for the conference"...Doogstone said:^

Taunting should mandated.

The call was correct. Pointing at opposing players during a play is legal. It happens every game. One example would be when the QB scrambles and points at a defender that he wants one of his teammates to block. As soon as Jake crossed the goal line, the play became dead, which made it against the rules to point at opposing players.

"there was conclusive evidence that the ball was touched by a receiving team player"Doogstone said:^

what's amazing is that wasn't even the biggest fuckup in that play. even after ruling the recovery in favor of Oregon they called it as being touched before 10 yards and then they overturned that call despite 0 evidence to support it.

That was a bad call. But it wasn't as bad as the call Stoops made to send 6 pass rushers after Dixon instead of playing prevent defense when Oregon still needed a TD to win. It was hilarious how wide open Paysinger was.

they were at the 20 or so yard line with 40 seconds left. they needed a sackFenderbender123 said:That was a bad call. A sack would have been nice, but blitzing is too risky when your main priority is to prevent a touchdown...especially at the 20 yard line. Just my uninformed and uneducated opinion.dhdawg said:

At the time all you wanted to talk about was how Choklahoma still had chances to win so they had nothing to complain about.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

That's true. I also made the point that the on field crew fucked up a lot harder than the replay crew.dnc said:
